Load Roll/Film
Most converted DTF printers encounter sheet feeding issues due to two main reasons. First, PET film is not a recommended media type for insertion into the printer. Second, the printer often fails to detect the sheet due to its thickness, transparency, or other characteristics. ZiggRoll solves this problem by enabling easy PET film feeding: users first insert a sheet of paper, allowing the PET film to be guided in as if it were paper. The printer detects the paper, but once inserted, the print occurs on the PET sheet. It may sound complex, but it’s actually the simplest and most effective way to feed plastic into an inkjet printer.

While using hardware to bypass a printer’s paper weight and width sensing mechanism is an excellent solution, ZiggRoll offers a smarter alternative. Afterall, Converted printers will always have some limitations. Dedicated roll printers have so many anvanced options like forward & reverse for example. Production cost in Dedicated DTF or Dedicated Sublimation Printers will always be lesser than converted printers.
